At MEDU, we take care to maintain high quality and hygiene standards. For this reason, all sales are final and no cash refunds are offered. Where allowed by our policy, we offer exchanges or store credit only, subject to the conditions below.
Return Window
Returns and exchanges are allowed within 14 days of receiving your order, if all conditions are met.
Return Options
Return in-store (Maboneng), via courier collection (R100), or via PEP PAXI / PostNet (customer’s cost).
Non-Returnable
Clearance & sale items, free gifts, accessories and opened headwraps are final sale and cannot be returned.
How do I return an item?
You may return your item in any of the following ways:
1. Return In-Store (Johannesburg, Maboneng)
You are welcome to bring your item directly to our store:

2. Return via Courier Collection (R100 Fee)
If you prefer a collection from your address:
- Indicate this in your return request email or WhatsApp message.
- You will receive a secure payment link for the R100 courier return fee.
- Once paid, we will arrange the collection and send you a confirmation.
3. Return via PEP PAXI or PostNet (Customer’s Cost)
You may send the parcel to Jewel City, Johannesburg, using:
- PEP / PAXI – addressed to: 064 789 2940
- PostNet – Jewel City – contact: 064 789 2940
Please clearly label your parcel and share the tracking number with us once dispatched.
How do I request a return?
To request a return or exchange, please email us at info@shopmedu.com with:
- Your order number.
- The item(s) you would like to return.
- Your reason for the return.
- Photos, if the item is damaged or defective.
- Your preferred return method (In-Store / Courier / PAXI / PostNet).
Once we have received your request, we will confirm whether the return is eligible and share the next steps.
What items are returnable?
Items may be returned within 14 days of receiving your order, provided all of the conditions below are met:
- Items are in original condition.
- Items are unworn, unwashed, unaltered.
- Items are in original MEDU packaging with all tags and labels attached.
- Items are free from makeup, perfume, stains, damage or any signs of wear.
What items are not returnable?
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Sale, discounted, clearance or promotional items.
- Free gifts or items received as part of a promotion or bundle.
- Accessories (including earrings, headwraps, hair items, belts, ties, etc.).
- Headwraps where the packaging seal has been broken.
- Custom-made, made-to-order or altered garments.
- Items returned worn, damaged, without tags, or without original packaging.
How long does processing take?
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, approved returns will be processed within 5–14 working days.
Where applicable, we will issue either:
- A store gift card (store credit); or
- An exchange for another size or item, subject to stock availability.
