This shirt is absolute perfection. The colors and traditional patterns on the vertical pattern are vivid, beautiful, and crafted with incredible attention to detail. It fits comfortably, feels high-quality, and wears with so much pride and elegance.
The dress itself is absolutely beautiful and very well made. The quality is excellent, and I completely understand the price point given the craftsmanship. Unfortunately, my overall experience was let down by the lack of flexibility when I needed assistance with the sizing.
I ordered the dress while I was still overseas, where I reside, as I was travelling to South Africa to be a bridesmaid in a wedding. We had actually been advised by Medu to order our dresses early to ensure that they arrived in good time for the wedding. My dress was delivered on 15 August, but I only arrived in South Africa on 31 August, so I had no opportunity to try it on before then.
Unfortunately, when I finally tried the dress, it was too small. By that point, I was just outside the 14-day exchange period and Medu would not allow me to exchange it for a larger size. I completely understand that businesses need policies, but I was disappointed that there was no flexibility given the circumstances—particularly as the dress was completely unworn and I had physically been out of the country when it was delivered.
As the dress could not be resized, I was advised that my only option was to purchase another one, which I ultimately had to do. Given the cost of these dresses, this meant spending a considerable amount of money and being left with two dresses, one of which I cannot wear.
It is especially disappointing because I genuinely love the dress and was very happy with its quality. I simply wish there had been a little more understanding and willingness to find a reasonable solution, particularly when we had followed Medu’s advice to purchase the dresses well in advance. Policies are important, but I also believe exceptional circumstances sometimes warrant a degree of discretion.
My boys looked stunning, like the fits were made for them.

The package was heavy for a dress, that’s when I knew this would be the best dress I ever bought. The price is definitely worth it. I sized up because it doesn’t stretch even one bit. But that’s because I have bigger boobs, had to be sure they can fit innit. It’s so great I can’t wait to wear it this weekend for a wedding 😁
