Hands of the dress were too tight

Bought the dress at the store last year going to a wedding, fitted the dress and hands were too tight, I asked that can I bring the bress back after the wedding so they can adjust the hands, the ladies were not friendly to me at all, they said it's not possible once u walk out with the dress u can't bring it back, when I wanted to fit a different size and asked if they had size 36,they were like just deside if u buying the dress or not, bought the dress and left adjusted the hands myself , very disappointed with the service
